Chargers’ season ends in quarterfinals against Tri-Center, 47-20

ACGC (10-1) hosted Tri-Center (10-1) on Friday, Nov. 8 in the Class A quarterfinals, where the Chargers’ undefeated season came to an end, 47-20. Tri-Center went into this game with one of the best players in the state in its backfield, and they unleashed him. Carter Kunze had a game-defining 34 carries for 256 yards and three TDs. Kunze also had a pick six on the day, bringing his TD total to four. The Chargers still had plenty of rushing production as they have all season. Joe Crawford had seven carries for 100 yards and two TDs. Mike Fuller had 12 carries for 88 yards. Brexton Schneider had seven carries for 80 yards and one score, and Jathan South had eight carries for 65 yards. Xander Harwood led the team on defense with 9.5 tackles and one tackle for loss. Carter Richter was close behind him with nine tackles and 2.5 tackles for losses.
